How to join the contest?

The how-to-join step is the easiest part. Here's how the Valheim Mistlands Mystery Video Contest works:

  1. Record a video showing exploring in the Mistlands within 2-3 minutes. It can be a review, a walkthrough, PvP battle, or any interesting gameplay experience and discovery you want to share.
  2. Make sure that the language you use is English. Save your video in a .mov or .mp4 file and label it using this format: Contestant Name-Discord Username-Valheim-Mistlands.
  3. After that, upload your video entry via Hostari's Discord channel #contest or;
  4. Tweet your entry and tag us @HostariOfficial and the Valheim devs @dvoidis, @DSFishlabs, and @Valheimgame with hashtags #HostariValheimMistlandsContest #ValheimServerHosting
  5. ‍Submissions will only be accepted until 11:59 pm CST on January 25th, 2023.

Hostari will announce winners on January 31, 2023 via our Discord channel, so make sure you are already a member! The winning entries will be featured on our official website and social media pages. Grand winners will also have the chance to be chosen as our official content creator partners! So, stay tuned.
